My radio control operations go back to the days
of the Babcock tube transmitters and receivers with the little escapement
units....no throttle or steering, just a button....and your memory had better
be good. My first unit was a Sterling biplane with an Olsen 60
onboard....quite a handfull. Great challenge and got me into boats after
sweeping up the parts one day. Over the years I have gotten into all the
fields......cars, surface and submarine boats, and anything which I could cram
R/C gear into. I have just completed a new workshop which should be up and
running (as soon as I figure out which boxes hold which equipment) shortly.
Then it is off to whatever pond or lake I can find to operate on. Finding
ample sources of water is rather a challenge when one has moved to the high
desert. Stay tuned!
