Membership in SSMA is open to all clubs that reside in the North American Continent and the related possessions. Does your club present an annual Regatta?  The SSMA Regatta handbook can help you to plan your event.  SSMA officers and members can help you to promote and conduct your event.   You can also present a SSMA Sanctioned Regatta with the assistance of an officer or Area Rep of the SSMA. 

Affiliated clubs are entitled to space for the club web page under the ssmana.org domain.   Affiliated clubs may also request one or more email mailing list (listserv) to use for your members.  Contact for more information.

A minimum of 5 club members shall be individual SSMA members and 2 of these shall be club officers. Each club will receive a Charter, quarterly Newsletter, the Regatta Handbook and more. For more information, contact our Membership Director, or any officer or Area Rep.

As an individual member of SSMA you are entitled to receive the quarterly Newsletter, the Official SSMA patch, information packet on how to start a club, a listing of clubs in your area as well as throughout the US, and special discounts from our Business Members.

Members are entitled to an email account at ssmana.org.  Family Membership is also available.

Businesses are encouraged to associate with the SSMA. Business associates are entitled to an enhanced hyperlink (thumbnail) on the SSMA web site, access to Member information (for those members how have consented to release of their information), free table space at SSMA sanctioned events (restrictions apply), and reduced advertising rates in the SSMA Journal.  Contact any officer or for more information on how your business can benefit from membership.
